What Lies Within?
What Lies Within? is about the inner part of each of us that only we truly know or understand.
Years ago, I remember watching the original Star Trek TV series: In one episode, Spock, the half-human, half-Vulcan first officer, found his mind temporarily inside a human’s mind.
Spock, in a wonderfully emotional monologue, conveyed the pain he felt about being isolated and lonely in that mind; rather than interconnected as he was in the Vulcan world where minds regularly intertwined.
This piece is not only about understanding our innermost self; but using that understanding to meaningfully connect with the world outside ourselves.
Framed in a contemporary birch frame with a white acid-free mat.
