For a Soaring Spirit

The focal point of this necklace is the silver hummingbird. Hummingbird is about beauty, sharing gifts and letting your spirit soar.

I have designed this necklace to let the hummingbird fly by placing it on the right side to emphasize its movement. The stones that I have chosen to complement Hummingbird are: Labradorite, Sunstone, Moonstone, faceted aquamarine and Apatite.

The ten blue-gray Labradorite stones, on either side of the Sunstone, are about magic. Depending on the light, this stone can flash green, violet, blue even yellow. I buy high-quality Labradorite so that the wearer can enjoy its many colorful personalities. Labradorite helps increase your mental and intuitive capabilities and increase the synchronicity and serendipity in your life. It works in harmony with Moonstone and Sunstone. The orange-gold Sunstone’s story is that of personal power, leadership and abundance, sharing your blessings with others and meeting self-doubt and conquering it.

The white Moonstone is about self-discovery, intuition and gaining the wisdom to help you maximize your potential. All Moonstones are not the same: I buy only those stones that have just the right glow.

I chose Aquamarine to balance the concept of movement with calmness and relaxation. The cool light blue aquamarine is a stone of clear and articulate communication. It is also the stone of fearlessness and good luck.

There are two blue-green Apatite stones on either end of the necklace. Apatite helps with psychic activation, dreams and access to knowledge.

The necklace is finished with an elegant but simple sterling silver toggle fastener.
